F. Thomas Holt Ill has been practicing law in Fayetteville, NC since 1980. He was raised outside Washington, D.C., having graduated from high school from Walter Johnson Senior High in Bethesda, Maryland. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974, Tom taught in the public schools for three years. He then enrolled at Campbell University School of Law, where he was Notes & Comments Editor for the Law Review a charter member of Delta Theta Phi and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa. He graduated with Distinction in 1080. Tom has been in private practice since passing the bar in 1980 and appears regularly in the trial and appellate courts of North Carolina as well as the federal District and Circuit courts. His wife, Nancy, is a retired Kindergarten teacher, and they have two married adult children and two grandchildren.

Mr. Holt now focuses his practice in the areas of business consultation and litigation, administrative law, family law, mediation, and arbitration. Tom is a certified Superior Court mediator, a District Court arbitrator, and a trained domestic relations mediator. He has conducted numerous mediations involving all areas of the law, and has served on binding three member arbitration boards.

Tom considers his church and family as his primary activities when not working, but still finds time to fish and hit the occasional golf ball.
